Hello. On this development site I've changed the main menu background colour & the text colour, but I can't see where to change the background colour on the active link. Could you point me in the right direction please? Or is it possible to just turn it off?

Hello,

Note: Using developer tools in your browser you can see what css relates to what. ;)
The following code will do it.
#hornav ul li.active.deeper.parent, #hornav ul li.current.active a {
    background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.4) !important;
}

Thanks,
JohnO

Please see the following link that explains the rgba css
www.w3schools.com/css/css3_colors.asp

If you do not want the color to be transparent then you could use the following.
Simply copy and paste the following css code into the custom css code parameter in the templates styling parameters. Replace the color hex code to what ever color you want.
#hornav ul li.active.deeper.parent, #hornav ul li.current.active a {
    background-color: #000000 !important;
}

This is an example of where you put the code in the styling parameters

Thanks,
JohnO
